ycraft ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ByteKit mobile application (the "App").

Data Collection

We collect no personal data.

The App contains no analytics software, no advertising software, and no third-party tracking components of any kind. It makes no network requests of its own. There are no accounts and no servers. The only network activity is Apple's own App Store connection, used to verify purchases.

Your Photos, Videos, and Audio

All processing happens on your device, using its media hardware.

• Your files are never uploaded, transmitted, or copied off the device by the App
• The App does not read your photo library. You choose individual photos or clips through Apple's own picker, and only the items you select are handed to the App
• Photo library permission is requested for adding only, so that finished files can be saved back to your library. The App cannot browse, read, or delete your existing photos with this permission
• Files you import from the Files app, or send in from another app through the share sheet, are copied into the App's own folder so they can be read while you work. Those working copies are deleted when the job finishes; you can turn that off in Settings
• Your original files are never modified

Data Storage

The following is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:

• App settings and preferences
• A history of your jobs, with a small thumbnail of each
• Files waiting in the queue and the outputs you have produced
