ycraft ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Sidefold mobile application (the "App").

Data Collection

We collect no personal data.

The App contains no analytics software, no advertising software, and no third-party tracking components of any kind. It makes no network requests of its own. There are no accounts and no servers. The only network activity is Apple's own App Store connection, used to verify purchases.

Your Photos and Videos

All compositing, alignment, and export happens on your device, using its graphics hardware.

• Your photos and videos are never uploaded, transmitted, or copied off the device by the App
• The App does not read your photo library. You choose individual clips or photos through Apple's own picker, and only the items you select are handed to the App
• Photo library permission is requested for adding only, so that finished exports can be saved back to your library. The App cannot browse, read, or delete your existing photos with this permission
• Automatic audio alignment analyses the sound of the clips you selected, on your device, to find where they line up. The audio is not stored and is never sent anywhere

Data Storage

The following is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:

• Your recent projects: a name, the chosen layout and aspect ratio, the clip labels, the split ratio, the trim points, and which editing tab you last used
• Copies of the clips and photos you selected, kept inside the App so that a saved project can still be opened later
• Reduced-size preview copies of your clips, written to the system temporary folder to keep the editor responsive; these are removed by the system when no longer needed and can also be cleared from Settings
• A count of how many exports you have made today, used for the free daily limit
