ycraft ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Tilework mobile application (the "App").
Data Collection
We collect no personal data.
The App contains no analytics software, no advertising software, and no third-party tracking components of any kind. It makes no network requests of its own. There are no accounts and no servers. The only network activity is Apple's own App Store connection, used to verify purchases.
Your Photos and Videos
All composition and rendering happens on your device.
- Your photos and videos are never uploaded, transmitted, or copied off the device by the App
- The App does not read your photo library. You choose individual photos or clips through Apple's own picker, and only the items you select are handed to the App
- Photo library permission is requested for adding only, so that finished pieces can be saved back to your library. The App cannot browse, read, or delete your existing photos with this permission
- Photos and videos you add to a piece are copied into the App's own storage on your device, so that your saved drafts keep working. These copies never leave the device. Settings shows how much space they use and lets you remove the ones no longer used by any draft
Data Storage
The following is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:
- App settings and preferences
- Your drafts, with a small thumbnail of each
- Copies of the photos and videos you added to a piece
- A count of how many pieces you have exported today
